Less Here Than Usual

Soooo I kind of broke my laptop harddrive somehow. We are trying to get it to boot with CDs and my dad is finagling to see if he can get my information (i.e. a year's worth of essays, lab reports, stories, poetry, random information for Milliways characters, chatlogs, icons...the list goes on) off of it.

<3 you all, but this means I won't be online as much because I have to be downstairs where my parents regulate my use of the internets. Much loffles and catch you on the fliiiip side of this minor disaster. As for now, I am going to go swim.

Mwah!

(Also, if you happen to have stories I've sent you saved I would totes appreciate you e-mailing them to me but it's okay if you don't have any! I don't really expect it, :)).

Awww, m'sowwy. *snug*

When I get my own computer working again (evil broken mouse, but then again, less evil than EVIL HARD DRIVE), I can send you anything hiding around in my mailbox. That should be tomorrow, la.

Oh dear... how terrible. I would be horrified if I lost the information that's stored on my computer's hard drive...

Might I suggest that you have a professional data-retrieval expert finagle with it, rather than your dad? Data loss is horribly easy on those things, and it might be a good idea to not make anything worse...

I'm afraid that I don't have any stories of other data of yours on my computer.

Remind me next time we're chatting, if I haven't emailed -- I have whatever snippets you've pasted into IMs for me, at least. :) But not on the computer I'm currently on.

Good luck with the laptop!
