Someone told me I should update my journal more; I agree, this is a very good thing to do! However, I suck at having grand adventures or Deep Insights on a daily basis, so I am more likely to share random things (which probably are not so interesting!). And, maybe not daily. But...once a week, at least? I'll try. (More likely to try when I have an essay to write. Like now! :P)

I just got back from church & socializing post-church, and then I got back to check my e-mail (THRILLING) which is just frame for this:

I have a friend who is blind. Many people know my friend, many people don't, but it is brief to say he's done some media things. Everyone I know online who speaks of it (discussion boards, which I have trawled more than I ought to)/in fandom (what little of it exists and what even littler--2 fics-- I have read) make a very big deal of how rude it is to mention sight related words around him. This originally made me mad, now I just find it hilarious. We probably used at least 10 or 15 in our ten minute conversation. I THINK WE'RE STILL FRIENDS. (but maybe not. Maybe I will be randomly hit squadded you will know what to do)

Also, I just got an e-mail from my teacher in which it says:

I am now really confused. Who is "Grant"??? If it is teacherman's preferred name, why did he tell us to call him Doug and sign the e-mail "Doug"??? What?

I plan to ask him this in class. Hopefully it is not his evil twin. :D
